Nara Park (a.k.a. Deer Park) is known as a place where you can meet and greet deer in the daytime. However, there is also a great night view spot just behind the park, the grass-covered mountain 'Mount Wakakusa'. Between August 1 and September 27, 2020 (excl. August 15), a special shuttle bus operates on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from JR Nara Station and Kintetsu Nara Station to Mount Wakakusa. You can casually hop on without reservation. On August 22 and 29, a twilight bus operates for the first time this year, and you can enjoy sunset view as well.
