When visiting Nara City, these day passes are definitely worth checking out. They allow unlimited bus rides for one day in the Nara Park area, which includes World Heritage sites registered as "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara" such as Todaiji Temple and Kasugataisha Shrine, as well as in the Nishinokyo area. By presenting your pass, you can also receive special benefits including discounts at various facilities!
City Loop Bus
The "Gurutto Bus" city loop bus is a convenient way to tour around Nara Park, the Heijo Palace Site, and Mt. Wakakusa. One ride costs 100 yen (for elementary school students and older), and you can also use various free passes to ride! The bus operates on the following 3 routes:
[Omiya Street Route]: Operates daily
[Nara Park Route]: Operates only on weekends and holidays (does not operate on weekdays)
[Mt. Wakakusa Foothills Route]: Operates only on weekends and holidays (does not operate on weekdays)

Besides the "Gurutto Bus", you can also access major tourist attractions by regular bus routes. For convenient transportation from Kintetsu Nara Station and JR Nara Station, searching via the page below is helpful.

For those who want to explore at their own pace with mobility, rental bicycles are recommended. With a bicycle, you can move smoothly without worrying about traffic congestion.
