Imanishi Shoin 【今西家書院】

The Imanishi shoin was originaly used as a residence of a great Buddhist monk of the Kofuku-ji Temple, and handed over to the Imanishi family in 1924. It is a Shoin-zukuri style building that conveys the style of the Muromachi period, and it has been registered as an Important Cultural Property. At the café, you can enjoy sweets made with the local sake "Harushika".

Access From JR or Kintetsu Nara Stations, take a bus bound for Tenri Station for 8 minutes and get off at Fukuchiin-cho bus stop, then take a walk for a minute.
Or, take a walk for 15 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station.
