The Imanishi Shoin was originally used as the residence of a great Buddhist monk from the Kohfukuji Temple and was handed over to the Imanishi family in 1924. It is a Shoin-zukuri-style traditional residence that embodies the Muromachi period (1336-1573) style and has been designated as an Important Cultural Property. At the café, you can enjoy sweets made with the local sake "Harushika".
