This is a garden site from the Nara period, discovered during an excavation in 1975. It features a central pond and is displayed with the actual excavated remains exposed. As one of the few gardens that showcase the appearance of ancient Japanese gardens, it has been designated as a Special Historic Site and Special Place of Scenic Beauty by the Japanese government.
