The Flower Festival is held every year on April 8th at Futaiji Temple. This festival is a Buddhist event celebrating the birth of Buddha, and is officially called "Kanbutsu-e." The outer sanctuary of the main hall is decorated with seasonal flowers, and sweet tea is served to worshippers in the kuri, and ”Scattered flowers” are distributed. Forsythia and Narihira camellias bloom in the temple grounds from late March to early April, signaling the arrival of spring. The Flower Festival, held in a tranquil atmosphere, offers worshippers a moment of peace.
Futai-ji Temple, also known as the temple associated with Ariwara no Narihira, is a recommended spot for those interested in literature and history.
