聖武天皇陵・光明皇后陵（佐保山南陵・佐保山東陵）

多聞城跡のすぐ西隣に並ぶ陵墓で、第45代聖武天皇の陵墓「佐保山南陵」とその皇后である光明皇后の陵墓「佐保山東陵」です。この佐保山エリア一帯には、元明・元正天皇陵など、奈良時代の天皇や皇族の陵墓が数多くあります。
